Script Frenzy

I joined the Script Frenzy this year, and it’s wonderful and awful.

If you don’t recognize the ticket above, Script Frenzy comes around every April. Writers have one month to write 100 pages of original scripted material.

I’ve lurked on the Script Frenzy page each April, received the reminder emails, and deleted every one of them. But the ideas in my head won the battle this year, and Between Souls was born.

There’s still time to check it out and get started if writing a screenplay interests you. They recommend writing 3.3 pages each day to keep up, but I must admit, I have had days without any writing. I’ve also read that I should just type and not go back to edit until the month is over, but I’m having a terrible time with that suggestion. I need to keep moving forward, but I keep thinking of things to fix. I’ve added a page count tracker on the right, but it’s not as pretty as I’d like it to be, so I’m looking for something better. Let me know if you’ve seen one.
