NaNoWriMo Optimism

Life gets in the way of our best-laid NaNoWriMo plans sometimes.

I started my NaNoWriMo project on time, and I have been working on it, but I cannot say that the outlook is good for me to finish on time. There is still hope - a teeny tiny bit of hope. I have more than half of the month left, I have inspiration, and I have fast fingers. Will that be enough? Only time will tell.

If you are on your own NaNoWriMo quest, stay strong. I will if you will...

  1. I just started my planning. School is kicking my butt and then family issues. So I literally just got started this week.

My thought though is that NaNoWriMo shouldn't be a month but should extend until the novel(la) is done.

  2. @Lou, I hear you. It's so easy to say I'll participate, and it's so hard to stick with the plan. I remember wishing it wasn't the month of November last year because there were so many added complications that month. But is there ever a complication-free month? Not in this house!
