Cassiopeia

I am bored.

I'm bored with my writing. My old writing. My story that I've been working on for 10+ years.

Cassiopeia A from Hubble Telescope
And you know what that means - I'm not working. Not on it. Not when I have other thoughts that are so much more exciting.

But I'm just kidding myself. I'm always working on the original. Even if that work is simple deconstruction, I still think of it as I start something new.
While my new story brews, I've enjoyed the trailers for the new movie, Gravity. I feel my own breath speed up as hers does, feel my own stomach fall as she tumbles. Can't wait for this one - comes out October 4th. Now that school is back in session, I've been reading a bit again. I am thankful for the time to read, even if it's to get through a few pages and realize I don't like what I'm reading. Some classics are on my list - hopefully I'll get to start (or re-start for those I've read before) these this week:
